We have instructors to train you to fly. We are a friendly club Mostly R/C powered aircraft, but others allowed

 

The Arizona Model Pilots Society

just outside of Phoenix, Arizona, on 43rd. Ave. and Pennicle Peak Road. The field is right down the street from a large water park.

AMA is required to fly at the field, and there is also a fee to join the club. The field has a 600 ft. paved runway, microwave, refridgerator, running water, bathrooms, assembely tables, and frequency control. New members are welcome.

 

Arizona Radio Control Society AMA #773

Phoenix, Az. West on Bell Road 7 miles from Grand Ave.(U.S. 60,89) to 1/2 mile past McMicken levee. Turn left on gravel road and go one mile east to left turn and continue 1/3 mile to sign on right.

Locked gate will be open if member is at site, usually every morning until at least noon.

Weekends members are usually there most of the day. All RC aircraft welcome. AMA is required with no exceptions. AMA Introductory Pilot Program is in effect for new pilots. 500 ft X 50 ft paved runway. Radio impound allways used (self-service).

Bring something to drink. Everyone is welcome.

Tucson Arizona. Club field located on the sw side  of the Pima County Fairgrounds near Tucson Raceway Park

MA and SFA chartered club since 1975 with current mebership of  80. AMA intro instructors available for people interested in trying our hobby.
